August 12, 2000 - Things are jumping with the horses. We need to congatulate Tommy and Pam Merritt of Sugarland Appaloosas on their purchase of Apache's Spectral Lady. Also here is a link that they want to exchange.
October 27, 2000 - Maggie has a new home! I sold her to Eric Beene's Southern Wind Appaloosas in Mississippi. It is a perfect place for her, because Magnolias are the state flower. Southern Wind's is also the new home for LVJs 4-mile Sheba, Eric is establishing the most intensive Cheif of Fourmile program's in the world.
October 5, 2000 - I sold Bloom N Black-eyed Susan to Angela Contardo. Congratulations to Angela on the purchase of an exceptionally nice mare! This time of year is a time of waiting on the farm. We know babies will be arriving in the coming months. We just have to watch moms get round!
April 29, 2000 - M&M Classic gave birth to a dark bay leopard filly by Sunspot Eclipse. She is as sweet as she is beautiful!!!
April 13, 2000 - The big news on the farm is that I am diversifying! I'm building goat herds. One very small herd of Nubian dairy goats, and the FIRST Cashmere goat herd in the state of Florida. The Cashmeres all descend from pure Australian stock. I'm hoping that they will continue to produce an abundance of their exquisite fiber at B Bloom N Spots Farm! I'll try to have photos to post of the goats soon. I'm also planning to make and offer for sale beauty products from Goat's Milk.
March 4, 2000 -
WOA Candelita had a lovely Bay Leopard filly by Shyloc's Cody.
Also three people have been lucky enough to add horses from B Bloom N Spots
Farm to their families. Congratulations to Susan Staples and Many Moon
Eclipse at MS Appaloosas in New Mexico, Brenda Brouder and Sugar Plum Fairy
at Soaring Hawk Appaloosas in Michigan, and also to Wendy Hanson and Bloom's
Pepperface in Virginia.
Due to an injury (mine, not the horses) , I didn't breed most of my mares
last year. I may have one or two more foals this season - check back!!!
July 13, 1999 - This season 4 foals have been born on B Bloom N Spots Farm. Three fillies and one colt. We are still waiting on Many Moon Eclipse to give birth to our last foal for this year. A big congratulations to Sandee Pardue! Her mare Spirit's Finale had a gorgeous bay blanketed colt by Shyloc's Cody. We don't normally breed Cody to outside mares, but "Ali" had such good looks and bloodlines that we made an exception. Her fine looking colt proves it was a good decision. B Bloom N Spots Farm is also proud of Miss Jessica Walters. She owns and successfully shows KC Prince O West. Jess is showing in both English and Western disciplines. She wows the judges with her talent and West's versatility. West makes sure they see spots! I am on the Board of Directors for Sundance 500 International. Please go to my links and visit their site. If you have a Sundance bred horse, or just want to learn more about Appaloosas-JOIN SUNDANCE!
